My bicycle is stolen, what should I do?
In the case of theft, you should send the following documents to us, stating your policy number, preferably registered. Postbus 148, 8530 AC Lemmer
- The complete police report http://politie.nl/aangifte

You must report to the police within 5 days. This can be done online 24 hours a day at: www.politie.nl/aangifte ( in Dutch ) or at the police station.
DigiD and SMS-check; as per april 1st 2017 you also need, next to a DigiD, a sms-check to report and log in at Mijn Politie https://www.politie.nl/aangifte-of-melding-doen/digid-en-controle-via-sms.html
- The two original keys of the bicycle ( our tip: stick the keys firmly in the envelope.
- The purchase receipt (and/or delivery document NFP) of your bike
- A copy of the policy (not required)

I have damage to my bicycle, what should I do?
You have hull damage to your bike. Then you should go to your bike shop to assess the damage. After that you must send us the following documents (stating your policy number) by email to info@kingpolis.nl or by ordinary post to: Postbus 148, 8530 AC Lemmer
- A damage claim form. Here you can explain what happened. This is of importance for a fast handling of your damage! Furthermore you can note who, according to you, is to be held accountable. In the case this person is someone other than yourself, we ask you to include to the details if possible. You can upload a document with the previously noted information.
- The damage assessment or invoice of the bike shop.

I have lost the key of my bicycle, what should I do?
If you have lost your bike key, then it is important to order a new one as soon as possible. Please let us know immediately at info@kingpolis.nl

What do you do if you have hull damage?
Do you have any hull damage? Then Kingpolis will ensure that you can cycle again as soon as possible. A bicycle shop will repair your bike, Kingpolis will take care of the administrative handling of the hull damage.
What to do if your bike is stolen?
First of all: report your theft. We will help you to handle your theft claim quickly and efficiently. After approval of the theft claim, you can find a new bicycle at a bicycle shop.
Is there a responsible counterparty?
Then we will help you to recover the uninsured damage, for example injury or other damage. We offer you this service for free. We're always working hard to provide the best service for you!
